CALIFORNIA - The era of Flash Player in the browser will soon be over? Could be it will happen in time no longer. This is because, the engineers at Google's success in developing HTML5 support web pages become more leverage.
In fact, Google's new way to support HTML5 increasingly evident with the success of their running game Quake II without the help of Flash Player at all!. Remarkably again, the game Quake II, renowned as the games 'weight' to run Google's more than 30 frames per second (FPS).
"Embedding a web browser in HTML5 support is able to produce a simply stunning performance, and some of our engineers decided to take time of about 20 percent to see how far we can push them. The result? Quake II can be played without a Flash," said Google spokesman Chris Ramsdale , as quoted by TG Daily, Saturday (3/4/2010).
"We are expanding from Jake2, and from the port of Quake II to Java. The engineers also take advantage of Google's Google Web Toolkit along with WebGL, WebSock and a lot of refactoring," he added.
However, Ramsdale warned that the port may not be operational or less the maximum of a modern browser.
"It's still early to take advantage of WebGL. So you will not be able to run without a browser that bleeding edge," he said.
