"As a person, I can only say that he (Tomizawa) funny kid, always happy and making jokes, and as a driver he got respect from everyone in a short time. He was quick and brave," Pedrosa said as quoted by Autosport, Week 5 September 2010.

Rider deaths born December 19, 1990 that came just a week after 13-year racer Peter Lenz at the Indianapolis MotoGP weekend, and Pedrosa consider this event a severe blow for MotoGP.

"Losing two drivers in a very bad week. I'm sure everyone in the racing world will feel an equal at the moment and I would like to send condolences to the families left behind," concluded Pedrosa.

"When you're born, life gives you a choice of life. Tom chose to become a racing driver and the fact he's doing extraordinary things. I just think he'll be happy up there after realizing his dream," lid Pedrosa.
