VIVAnews - Japanese rider deaths, Shoya Tomizawa, makes Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa was reluctant to celebrate his victory at San Marino GP, Sunday 5 September 2010.
Pedrosa with a comfortable victory at Misano beat Fiat Yamaha duo Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. This result makes the closer Pedrosa Lorenzo at the top of the MotoGP standings with only 63 points behind.
Pedrosa admitted initially wanted to celebrate back-to-back after crossing the finish line. However, after learning news of the death of Spanish rider Tomizawa make it out the attack to celebrate the victory.
Tomizawa Riccione died in hospital after an accident in class Moto2. Suter Racing rider was killed after a hit by Scott Redding and Alex de Angelis after falling on the track.
"Now that there is in the head just far away from the race. There are no words that can be spoken. For the race everything went smoothly, but now I was really surprised," Pedrosa said after hearing the news leaving Autosport quoted Tomizawa, Sunday, September 5, 2010 .
"I arrived in parc ferme with joy after a win and I immediately feel the atmosphere of my mechanics are very different, everyone is very serious."
"Still using the Post Optionshelmet, they tell about Tomizawa and I can not react. It's a big surprise, a stark contrast for me. I'm up to three times asking if this news is true, because I do not believe it, 'said Pedrosa.
Tomizawa is the second death in the past week. Before going on MotoGP Indianapolis last week, rider 13 years old Peter Lenz also died from crushed.
The celebration itself is a victory at Misano Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Rossi without spraying the champagne at the end of the delivery of the trophy.
